BRINGING HOPE TO LIFE: JOIN US ON A JOURNEY TO WITNESS HOW PLUS ONE IS TRANSFORMING LIVES
In a world often marked by hustle and bustle, it's easy to overlook the importance of giving back and helping those in need. Fortunately, there are individuals and organizations that stand as beacons of hope and compassion. One such organization is “Plus One”, founded by the Group CEO of Reeracoen Group, Mr. Kenji Naito. This article takes you on a journey through “Plus One”'s heartwarming CSR activities, shedding light on the remarkable work they do to brighten the lives of children in need.
A Glimpse into Plus One's Charitable Trip
The heart of “Plus One”'s mission is its annual charitable trip to the Philippines. This initiative, which has been running since 2003, reflects the vision and dedication of Mr. Kenji Naito who was one of the founders. During these trips, Mr Naito’s primary goal is to personally and directly channel donations collected, to the children's village. This is just one of the ways in which “Plus One” goes a step further by making children's dreams come true.
Every year, a team of compassionate individuals organizes a range of activities for the children, from visits to amusement parks, aquariums, swimming pools, resorts, to shopping malls. These experiences provide both financial and emotional support to the children, earning them the endearing nickname, "Early Santa Claus."

The Heartfelt Itinerary
The trip takes place every year on a Saturday and Sunday in September. It begins with a warm welcome ceremony hosted by the children at the village, a touching moment that resonates deeply with everyone involved. Following the ceremony, “Plus One” engages in the "Dreams Come True" project, which aims to create lasting memories for the children.
During their most recent visit, after a four-year hiatus, the team took the children to a shopping mall, providing them with an unforgettable shopping experience. The weekend culminated in a Japanese-style summer festival on Sunday, filled with delights like chocolate bananas and water gun games, leaving the children with cherished memories to hold on to.

The Power of Collaboration
One of the remarkable aspects of Plus One's initiative is its ability to unite various organizations for a common cause. The effort extends across borders, with sister Japanese volunteer organizations and German churches actively participating in the charitable mission. The Children's Ministry Support Program Christian Mission Service Philippines (CMSP) plays a crucial role in facilitating these efforts, fostering collaboration to create a brighter future for the children.
