Job Description
The Procurement & Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end procurement and supply chain functions within the company. This includes sourcing, purchasing, logistic, inventory management, and ensuring the efficient movement of product and services to end customers. The manager will play a key role in optimizing the supply chain processes, reducing cost, promote localisation purchase, evaluating supply risks around the regions to ensure operation efficiency from time to time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Global Supplier Sourcing: Identify and engage with new & current suppliers to ensure the company has access to competitive pricing, high quality products, and reliable delivery schedules.
• Negotiation & Contracting : Negotiate prices, terms and conditions with suppliers and vendors to ensure best of value for the company.
• Purchasing : Oversee the purchasing process, ensuring that orders are placed timely and goods are delivered as per contractual agreements.
• Supplier Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure supply continuity and resolve issues related to delivery, quality or pricing.
• Cost Management: Monitor and control Procurement expenses to meet the company’s budget and yearly performance saving targets.
• Compliance: Ensure all Procurement processes comply with company policies, legal requirements and industry standards and other tasks assigned by direct supervisor.
• Logistic & Transportation: Oversee the inbound/outbound of transportation and logistic functions, ensuring timely and best cost of service and effective for each movement of goods
• Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and manage teams to achieve operational objectives. Mentor and support junior members.
Qualifications
Requirement
• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration & Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Procurement & Supply Chain and Project management or understand the overall Total Cost Ownership in related industry.
• Exhibit strong communication and good interpersonal abilities
• Proven ability to lead & work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to make decisions for issues and provide optimal & pragmatic solutions.
• Familiarity with tools and system such as Microsoft Office, ERP, SAP & other supply chain management software or Power BI, Tableau (will be an added advantage)
• Able to speak and write in both English & Chinese.English Level
