  • Job Description

    Responsibilities
    • Research and conduct Proof of concept on new software, database, infrastructure, and cloud technologies to fulfill the current and future potential business needs;
    • Educate and supervise development team follow framework and design principle from Architecture Department;
    • Overseeing all the moving parts of the system integration;
    • Make sure the integration of R&D software products to current applications are seamless;
    • Troubleshooting systems issues as they arise.
    • Design low-level architecture and related design documents for the development team;
    • Work closely with the development team to governance the system design is correctly implemented;
    • Work closely with Business stakeholders, Team Leader, Tech Lead, Infra, Security, Network, Product teams, and Vendors to solve business challenges;
    • Advocate and demonstration on Engineering best pratices such as Agile, CICD, IaC, SOLID principle, and Microservices Architecture

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    Education Background: Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent

    Experiences: Minimum 8 years of working experience in Software Development, 4 years of working experience as Technical or relevant architecture role. Preferably those with Cloud training on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Any architecture framework training or certification will be added advantages.

    Required Skills:
    1. Experience working with streaming architecture
    2. Experience in Kafka, RabbitMQ, or any other message bus technical
    3. Proficient in Docker and Serverless Application development
    4. Experience in Event-Driven Architecture
    5. Understand of IT security, infrastructure, and governance
    6. Proficient of at least one programming language.
    7. Strong understanding of Agile and Software Engineering pratices.
    8. Able to present technical context to non-technical stakeholders.
    9. Strong verbal and written communication in English.
    10. Able to communicate in regional or local languages.
    11. Strong understanding & analysis of user’s actual pain and requirements.
    12. Good problem-solving skills in a fast past environment.

    Overtime:
    Replacement leave for OT more than 4hrs approved by Site Manager.
    For public holiday, the OT rate is 2 x normal hourly rate. Assistant Manager position and above are not entitle for OT claim. Reimbursement shall be done via replacement leave.

    EPF Allocation: 12% for MYR5k and above. 13% for below MYR5k

    Mobile Allowance:
    Manager and above : Max up to MYR150 / month via receipt
    Senior Position : MYR100 / month
    Other Position : MYR60 / month

    Transport Allowance:
    Manager and above : Max up to MYR150 / month
    Senior Position : MYR100 / month
    Other Position : MYR60 / month
    Additional Note : Only upon confirmation.

    Medical Claims:
    Maximum up to MYR80 per receipt and MYR700 per year.

    Staff Insurance: Covered

    Yearly Spectacle / Dental Allowance:
    MYR400

    Annual Leave: 14 days per annum.
    Add in 1 day for every 2 years till maximum 24 days per annum
