  • Job Description

    Responsibility
    1. Leadership and Management:
    - Provide strong leadership and direction to the operations team, including trucking, command centre, maintenance, forwarding, warehouse, customer service, administrative personnel and drivers.
    - Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
    - Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement development plans for team members.

    2. Operational Oversight:
    - Oversee all aspects of logistics operations including day to day activities.
    - Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
    - Optimize routes, schedules, and resource allocation to enhance efficiency.

    3. Strategic Planning:
    - Develop and implement long-term operational strategies aligned with company goals.
    - Set and monitor KPIs to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
    - Anticipate industry trends and adapt strategies to maintain competitiveness.

    4. Customer Focus:
    - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through reliable and timely service.
    - Address customer concerns and develop solutions to enhance service delivery.
    - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

    - Manage the operations budget and control costs effectively.
    - Analyze financial reports and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

    8. Project Management:
    - Lead and manage large-scale projects, including process improvement and system implementation.
    - Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
    - Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

    9. Employee Relations:
    - Manage recruitment, training, and development of operations staff.
    - Address employee grievances and maintain a positive work environment.
    - Conduct regular team meetings and communication sessions.

    10. Reporting and Documentation:
    - Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance to senior management.
    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of operations and compliance.
    - Ensure transparency and accountability in all operational activities.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    - Education Background : Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field

    - Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the logistics industry.

    - Required Skills:
    1. Proven track record of successfully managing operations and driving performance improvement.
    2. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
