  • Job Description

    The key role of this position is to be responsible for administration support for the new Customer Support Center. Responsible to support the department to achieve overall goals and objectives. To manage daily operations of the department, monitor and analyse the progress of projects and jobs and advice management on the status.

    • Handle sales inquiries, prepare quotations for customers.
    • Respond to RFQs and follow-up closely to increase chances of getting orders.
    • Prepare and issue purchase orders.
    • Liaise with local and overseas customers / suppliers.
    • Prepare and issue sales documentation (Sales Order, DO, Performa Invoice etc) upon sales order received.
    • Monitor and follow-up closely on progress of orders and ensure timely delivery.
    • Handle all shipment arrangement and coordination including documentation from start to end.
    • Maintain customer profiles and job files.
    • Arrange and coordinate appointments with current and potential customers.
    • Build and maintain good business relationship with customers.
    • Follow-up on payments due from customers, if required.
    • Update ERP system.
    • Perform periodic data monitoring and provide forecast on customer support division indices.
    • Analyse customer support division results and report to superior.
    • Develop work instructions.
    • Support on making travel arrangements.
    • General administrative duties.
    • Provide administrative support to engineering team.
    • Collaborate and communicate effectively with sales, field support and inter-company personnel.
    • Discuss and negotiate with group company personnel.
    • Support to launch the new Customer Support Center by making rules, managing engineers' schedules and coordinating Customer Support meetings within group companies.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    • Candidate must possess a Degree in Business Administration, Sales or other fields.
    • At least 2 year(s) of similar working experience in the related field.
    • Japanese speaker
    • Knowledge of Marketing, Engineering or Logistics will be an added advantage.
    • Computer literate (MS Excel, MS Word ect).
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Independent, has initiative and capable to take up new challenges
    • Possess own transport with valid driving license.
    • Willing to travel when needed & self-motivated.
