  • Job Description

    1. Process Oversight and Management:
    • Oversee the end-to-end finance processes within the Shared Services framework, including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Financial Planning and Analysis, Risk & Control, Tax, Treasury, Business Management Reporting, and other relevant functions.
    • Ensure adherence to established finance policies, procedures, and controls across all sub-functions.
    • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to drive process efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.

    2. Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and standardization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce cycle times, and minimize errors.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement culture.

    3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls.
    • Conduct periodic audits and reviews to assess process compliance and quality.
    • Address any audit findings or compliance issues in a timely manner.

    4. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related inquiries, escalations, and issue resolution.
    • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance teams, business units, IT, and external regional teams.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide strategic guidance on finance processes and systems.

    5. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Provide leadership and direction to the finance Shared Services team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
    • Support transition of finance activities from regional location to SSC location.
    • Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills, knowledge, and capabilities.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, set objectives, and provide feedback to ensure individual and team growth.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    1. At least Bachelor Degree in Accounting or relevant qualification.
    2. At least 5 years and above in shared service experience, preferably in full set accounts (AR, AP, GL etc.)
    3. Well verse in accounting operation.
    4. Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel.
    5. Outspoken, good interpersonal and excellence public speaking.
    6. Creative in problem solving & managing challenge.
