Job Description
Market Identification & Expansion• Identify high-potential international markets for FMCG products by analyzing market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competition.• Develop and implement market entry strategies tailored to specific regional needs, including distribution channels, partnerships, and promotional strategies.• Understand and interpret local regulatory requirements, consumer preferences, and cultural nuances.Sales & Revenue Growth• Drive sales and revenue growth in international markets by identifying key customers, distributors, and retail channels.• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase product penetration and market share in targeted international regions.• Foster relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and wholesalers to ensure optimal product placement and visibility.Client & Partner Relationship Management:• Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key international clients, distributors, and partners in the FMCG sector.• Serve as the key point of contact for international clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and engagement.• Work closely with partners to ensure the successful launch and marketing of FMCG products in new territories.Negotiation & Contract Management:• Lead negotiations with international distributors, retailers, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and agreements.• Prepare and review contracts, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations and alignment with business objectives.• Oversee the execution of contracts, ensuring all deliverables are met according to agreed timelines.Product Positioning & Brand Strategy• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop product positioning and brand strategies tailored to international markets.• Analyze and report on local consumer trends, competitor products, and market feedback to refine product offerings.• Ensure consistency of the brand message across all international markets, aligning with global standards while adapting to local preferences.Cross-Functional Collaboration• Work closely with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth product distribution and timely delivery in international markets.• Collaborate with marketing teams to execute local promotional campaigns and product launches.• Coordinate with the finance team to assess profitability and pricing strategies in different regions.Performance Monitoring & Reporting• Monitor and report on the performance of international markets, identifying key sales metrics, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement.• Provide regular updates to senior management on international market developments, sales progress, and emerging trends.• Evaluate the success of business development initiatives and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize performance.International Trade & Regulatory Compliance• Stay up-to-date with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and product compliance requirements.• Ensure all international transactions adhere to local and global trade laws, tariffs, and product safety standards.
